Pumpkin 2004

I guess pumpkin carving would be included in the "sculpture" category. When I do a yearly carving, I like to carve up the entire pumpkin; one side to face out the window, and the other side to face inside. Eh, this pumpkin was rotting on the bottom when I bought it, but since it gave its life for halloween, had a decent face to it and very thick sides, I carved it anyway. It lasted about five days, and on Halloween we didn't light it up because the warmth from the lightbulb would make the rottenness smell up the entire livingroom instead of only the area where the thing stood. Anyway, it was a great pumpkin to carve and took about 6-7 hours without taking breaks. This pumpkin taught me a valuable lesson, never pick out a pumpkin at night.
