For The Love Of Gadgets

Description

A mini-tribute to the "inventor" side of Buster Keaton. He loved his gadgets. He's pictured with an old model train called "Stephenson's Rocket" ([link] ..first built in 1829) one of the first passenger trains. Keaton had a real version ([link]) of this train built and used it in his film "Our Hospitality" (1923), and then later in "Iron Mule" (1925). After filming, the train was put in the Smithsonian because it was one of the few existing (despite the minor modifications he made to it). Anyway, history lesson is over. It's really just a doodle on notebook paper, it wasn't meant to be anything special. I was debating whether to color it or leave it, but the inked version looked so blurry (evil scanner) that I had to color it.

EDIT: fixed his hand linework.
